headphone amp / dac / pre
Unit is in excellent as new condition complete with all original packing , mains cable and instruction manual
Outer paper sleeve is a bit tatty
Sounds absolutely fantastic and tottaly fuss free in operation .
Deadly silent using sensative iem and drives power hungry planars without breaking a sweat .
Probably the reason the black box / linear design has remained largely unchanged for almost 20 years and why sennhieser used Lehmann amplification to voice the legendary hd 800 .
note this is the linear D version which has built in ESS / DAC section
purchased ex demo from analogue seduction 9 months ago last retail price was £1150
mk 2 usb version currently retails around £1700 and the none DAC std linear version £750
