Similar idea to the impulse lali I'm playing with the moment what with the back loaded horn and fixed plate. Spec down to 44hz, thought they might go a bit lower than that

I heard a pair of these at Knopf in Düsseldorf a few years back. They were tested back to back against KEFs (the one down from the ref range.) The Odeons were really good.

Check out the larger horns in the Odeon line up 28's ,32's, 38's..... Lovely. They often pop up on audio-markt and ebay.de

a local dealer in the neighbourhood used to have these. i suspect they took a dealership so the owner could get himself a pair of big horns at a good price. i doubt they sold any despite the fact these speakers run circles around another speakers they stocked (sonus faber, dali). tonally, they resemble of proacs, crisp but tuneful, just with a bit more of a kick. i believe the drivers are visaton.
