Considering a move from moving coils to moving magnets, as my manual dexterity declines with age. Anybody (@ThomasOK ) know what the capacitance of the original grey T-Kable is (came with my 2003 Ekos 2 - see below) so I avoid any sub-optimal combinations?

4m of Mogami about 500pf, so 125pf/m. I believe that's what T-Kables use, at least, nowadays. An old non-T cable measures about 91pf.

Assuming your cable is standard length it won't be a problem with an MM. You will have more than enough twiddle room at the phono stage.

Thanks Paul55. My cable is not the newer Mogami one and it's not the old non-TKable. Having said that, I'm hoping Linn has been consistent with it's products such that the previous version 1m silver T-Kable is around 100pF.

I looked through my Linn documents and wasn't able to find the specs for that cable. For the current version Linn feels that "extremely low capacitance" is a proper spec.
