Off to see this band on recommendation from a Wammer who has good taste in music.

This Friday at Hebdon Bridge. Looking forward to it :rockin:

Hebdon Bridge... All I recall of there is some good beer, and great Yorkshire puds filled with steak and onion. Add good music and it's starting to sound like heaven!

I looked some of their 'work' up on You Tube. Who is this wammer with 'good taste' in music? He needs to be in the cockpunching thread. They look like the White Stripes in reverse and sound like Hole/Bananarama/The Macc Lads/Green Day/Chas'n'Dave.

I wish I could unhear and unsee the past 10 minutes. :(

Excellent gig, the best I've seen them for a long time. Included user generated content ie audience suggested lyrics, such as digital accordion rhyming with a knot thats gordian. Brilliant!

Fierce playing from both members and a real engagement with, and appreciation of the audience.

Lovely indeed!

Anyone who does not like them is soft as shite.

Brill gig. Really warm, real people who inject life, fun and humour into their songs. Delivered with passion and a healthy dose of 'We are just having a really great time' ....

Apparently their first gig in 7mths, due to pregnancy/baby...... but a performance that gave no signs of having been away, or being at all sleep deprived.

A great gig and I will be front of queue to see these again.

Latest album on sale at the gig, on vinyl, £12 or £20 with the t-shirt..... had to grab that

Nice to see The Lovely Eggs getting on a lot of love on the Wam - they're a top, genuine couple. I'll be seeing them in Cardiff on 1st Aug. They also did an in-store at Spillers in Cardiff not so long ago.

If you haven't seen it already - here's a link to their web site. You can sign up for their newsletter there, which is always good for a laugh and if you send them a message you'll get a response. You can also buy directly from them (including vinyl!), where they appear to do all the post and packing themselves.
