Moved away from Roon and computer based streaming, therefore selling off all my kit.
I used this late 2014 Mac Mini as my Roon Core as well as end point (with a reclocker I'm also selling) to great effect
Spec is indicated in images below and also a link to the Uptone Audio conversion that this Mac has seen. I bought it this way so can't tell you when it was done sorry but all works exactly as it should.
It has also has CAD software installed that maximises the audio quality and disables all unnecessary software that is simple to turn on and off. There is a message regarding keychain that pops up which I just cancel and ignore but I can't seem to remove - maybe someone a bit more tech savvy will know about this but neveer been a problem for me.
Currently running iOS 10.11.6 (CAD software is advised not to run on any spec above this) with Roon 1.7 I believe (not tried new version as I no longer subscribe) with no problems.
