Morel Tweeter replacement for ditton 15xr ?

Guys please help, any one know if this tweeter is a drop in replacement for the ditton 15xr's ?

Wlimslow audio have recommended this model as a replacement, just wondering if the crossovers will need any fiddlying with after fitting them.

What's wrong with the original tweeters? I mean, are they not working or are you thinking of upgrading?

Have you tried swapping the good tweeter over in place of the bad one, to make sure it's definitely the tweeter and not something else at fault?

So is it the Kef T27 that you need? If so, i've noticed a few on eBay.

I also noticed that www.falconacoustic.co.uk recommend the same Morel tweeter as a replacement for the Kef unit, so i'd imagine it would be ok too.

thanks for that, i dont think it is the kef unit that these use, ill have to double check

I thought that this model used a Celestion HF1300 tweeter.

Could be wrong, but it is definitely not a KEF unit - Celestion almost always make their own.

PS - with more reading it could be the HF1000 (8 ohm version) that you need as a replacement - again manufactured by Celestion themselves.

Pick up only in Cambridgeshire - but the whole speakers for less than the cost of decent tweeters alone -
