Think we did the Mumfords a while back on the Wam.
We did.

The general consensus was that Mr Mumford managed to pull Laura Marling and then get dumped, so he was not worthy of our consideration. :D

Was curious what all the fuss was, so watched them on TV 'headlining' at Glastonbury in front of megaThousands. T'was said that only a few years ago they were playing to audiences of less than 200 ... which seemed about their true worth IMHO. Probably enjoy than after a few beers at the local folk club, but nought special as far as I could see.

Don't worry, the hipsters here have to hate everything. It's their nature. If anyone's heard of the band it can't be any good is the general rule of thumb.

Annoyingly catchy tunes, find myself singing along to the ukulele rather than the lyric. Not my choice but bearable now and then on the radio.

What amazes me is that you'll see Jessie J or some other talentless twat on TV and then look in the crown and there's 30-40 yr olds going fucking mental. Mumford do nothing for me pretty much, but at least it's better than some of the shit around nowadays.

Give me a nice carpenters album and a cuppa tea please.

Decent enough to be on the bill but in no way are they a big festival headline act. Way too bland.

Well if thier huge global sales are anything to go by and they pull in the crowds then clearly they are. Ticket sales are surely king to the organisers. Essentially your opinion does not reflect reality.

...and Shaun annoying she may be but Jesse J is a bloody good singer. Hardly talentless.
