I realise this is the 3rd thread about Tune Audio Prime speakers, but thought you guys might like to see them in a different veneer. I asked for a Tineo real wood veneer with a matte varnish. I love the natural and organic look this gives the speakers, and if you listen to people like Sean from Zu Audio, the rougher varnish makes them sound better!

I'm still running them in, but of all the full-range speakers I have these are the ones that disappear the best when the music starts. They're dynamic (impressed with the lower frequency response), image well, throw a wide soundstage, but most of all their tonal qualities are outstanding. Vocals sound amazing, but percussion just sounds spot-on. I'm really looking forward to the journey as I get past the 500hr mark.

That's a stunning finish Krispy which contrasts well with the wall colour. What's the rest of your system? Is that a Lumin player I spot?

Ah yes well spotted, although my main player is the Aurender S-10 above but I've just sold my dac so it's out of action for the moment. An Esoteric K-01 arrives next week which will be fed the Aurender's digital output.

Pride and joy are the Audion Black Shadow 845 monos (25w). Between them my Sota Sapphire hand painted by a friend who is a tattoo artist. It has a Morch DP-6 and Benz Micro Wood S cart. Phono is an Esoteric E-03. The left column is Pure Audio pre/monos (65w pure class A solid state) from New Zealand. I use a Shunyata Hydra AV conditioner with a range of Shunyata power cables.

I also have a Zu Audio Undertone sub you can see on the left, but I haven't found the need to use it with the Primes.
