My dream speaker Dali epicon 6

I am after some Dali epicon 6s ideally EX demo mint in walnut but need to trade in my own Dali Rubicon 8s and then the rest of the balance on 0% interest free for the remains of the balance .
Anyone know of a HIFI shop that does this and has a ex demo pair in walnut but also worried in getting a bad trade in price for 7 month old speakers that cost me £5000

Got mine from Nintronics. Took advantage of Dali’s 20% off trade in deal which they waived for my offer of the cheapest speakers I could find. Gave me a good trade in on Opticons and Danny delivers, un boxes, bolts on the plinth and sets them up all for a small fee - excellent speakers and will partner well with your Yamaha, imho.

They wouldn’t do credit on trade ins of the remaining balance with the 0% or any credit but before that they phoned up again saying they spoken to the manager and they can sell a new pair for £6200 I thought wow that’s a come down from £8500 but because they wouldn’t do the credit it was a no deal for me .

It’s a no go with https://www.fanthorpes.co.uk/speakers/floorstanding-speakers/dali-epicon-6-speakers-exdemo/ they wouldn’t be making much profit on the epicons as I wanted £3500. - £4000 for my rubicons .
They could do it on a new pair for £8500 over 12 months at £400 a month giving me £3500 for my rubicons and I said no to that .

Have you heard the Epicon 6? When you dem them, if you can, take your credit card, unless you seriously will never buy them straight out. Then leave your credit card at home.

The increase in detail and dynamics from the Helicons was just so impressive. They are truly final destination speakers, for me at least.

If I were you, given the current economic situation, I'd see if I could save the money rather than buying on finance, and then get a demo. I don't think any dealer is going to give you a good trade in deal on ex-dem unless you're paying cash, and you're not going to get £3500-4000. You can get them new for £4600.

Richer sounds £4999 but anyway no never had a demo on the epicon 6s and not sure if there would be much of a difference between the Rubicon 8s and the epicon 6s as the rubicon 8s use a lot tec from epicons anyway .
I think i will save some money and see what happens in the future as i didn't want to borrow lots of money in this day and age on the epicons as i thought £400 a month was a lot of money .

I thought the Kore were going to be a replacement for Epicons, but @ £70K, instead a venture into a new market. Launched 9 years ago with no upgrades, Dali got Epicons right first time, imho - agree with arturo, my final speakers and a significant upgrade from my Rubicon 6. @ £6,200, a very good deal.

I have been after Dali epicon 6s for a very long time as i worked my way up the range from opticon 6s , 8s and the Rubicon 8s

Have you considered getting a credit card with an opening offer of 2 years interest free? Use it to buy the Dali's at £6,200.00 then cut it up. Then the payments would be about £260.00 a month. Obviously if you are not disciplined financially don't do it.

@Blacksabbath25 this is what I was going to write. Seems the most logical choice. If you use https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/ then you can put in your details and the site lets you know the deals that will match your credit profile without affecting your credit score. We only live once so unless you are very concerned about your income then go for it.
