MY NEXT HI-END SACD PLAYER

I have decided after a lot of thought to move my Champagne SONY SCD777ES to the mancave from my main system. To compliment the same preamp and power amp by Sony of that generation..
So looking for a “very” reliable Secondhand SACD player of similar quality .. I’ve had an Estoteric in the past , great player for sure but found it a tad to clinical for my ears..
Budget could stretch to £2000 for the right machine..

Marantz gear doesn't sound clinical. Maybe also Denon or Arcam.

I'd seriously consider a Denon DCD2500NE, which you could buy new with proper warranty for well under budget. You may even be able to find an ex dem, or lightly used, Denon DCD A110 within budget.
