Wow. After much talk at many a bake off and get together about the wonders of a naga chilli based curry, tonight I finally tried one.

They are hot. No doubt but it's not a long lasting burn. And the flavour is so smokey and rich it's fantastic.

Best. Curry. Ever.

Naga is king of curries.

I like hot, but I prefer flavour. Naga does both.

Welcome to the world of taste!

Yes, indeed, the flavour is quite unique and that's what I love about them. While I like hot, I don't like it super mad hot, so it can be a bit tricky with Nagas!

The Naga is too hot for me I'm afraid but it was quite interesting watching two wammers hiccuping in unison the other night!

It is obviously becoming more popular, Pete had a Naga curry in the same restaurant a couple of years ago and it was a special order, now it was on the menu and three out of five wammers ordered it when we visited last week.

Is it worth sacrificing one of your Nagas to get some seeds? Or were they selling the seeds anyway?

I'm expecting a full report with pictures about the Chichester festival! ;-)

I tried some 12 million schovile sauce on a burger once. Dragon's blood it was called. Spread a tiny atom thin layer onto the bun. Still almost too effing hot! MEntal stuff.

Just made a Naga curry. Korma style but with Naga chilli's from John. Lovely.. Half of a chilli was enough.
