yes they had a full range driver, but were also available in Kit form.. I had some mounted in side 2 concrete pipes, about 10" diameter and over 3 feet high! With an acoustic filter about 2/3 of the way down, and a vented plinth at the bottom.... Not the best in the world really!!

From the look of them, I think these were home-built...a pair with the pukka Wharfedale badges was sold on eBay a couple of months ago & the construction/detailing/finish looks significantly different (more professional).

Wharfedale drivers of this vintage often suffer from rotted foam surrounds and exact replacement surrounds aren't commercially available.

There's talk that some of these speakers used, or had fitted, Goodmans (Axiom?) drivers in place of the Wharfedale ones.
