His new album "Fanfare" has recently been released. His last, "gentle spirit," is one if my faves of the last few years.

Excellent, cheers for the heads up. Gentle Spirit is a great album, well, it gets played a fair bit by myself.

My friend told me on Saturday that he thinks this is a much better album than Gentle Spirit and, given that's one of his favourites, that's some accolade.

Got to say I was very disappointed with the new album, no where near as good as Gentle Spirit; IMO :dunno:

Finally got round to picking up a copy, it "fell" in to my amazon shopping basket while christmas shopping. I have to say I really rate it, lots of self indulgent noodling and great sq to boot.

I'm not convinced yet but it's growing on me. The sky blue vinyl though, as a Man City fan, has to be spun!

I've got "Gentle Spirit" and I love it. I've ordered "Fanfare" but its not arrived yet . Hopefully it'll be here in time for Christmas so I can de-stress when my mum and the outlaws have left after eating me out of house & home.

After hearing Gentle Spirit at yours I ended buying it, but as a " red" don't know if I could handle sky blue vinyl

Maybe some thick gloves needed !
