Very nice Dave, how are they sounding? Are you going to RMAF this year, BTW?
Well I am off to LA next week so I probably won't be able to make it due to work commitments. But I've not ruled it out completely. The speakers are sounding great but I can't wait for my new amps to arrive, at the moment I am using 8wpc Recommended is 10wpc. Anyhow give them a couple of weeks and you can come round to listen for yourself.

What amps are you going to use?

I saw the 10amp minimum recommendation for the Duos, so I went P-SET, but honestly I think 8w would have been plenty.

Sounds like a plan. TBH, I doubt there's much practical difference between 8 and 10W.

In fact, on my Duos in a 35 square metres room there's no practical difference between my 3.something W 2A3 SETs and a 400W Van de Leur Audio power amp.

The difference between my former Audion-based 2A3 and the current Welters that have 'adequate' output trannies, however, was fairly huge.
