Hi!
A friend with a self confessed corner horn fetish has updated his blog - http://itishifi.blogspot.co.uk/ with news of his recreation of a pair of Voigts. Having heared an original powered by a PM4 Lowther which the vendor of my first TP1A preferred in preference to the TP1, it has been clear that these are interesting speakers and well worth paying attention to.
I have bought a couple of Mike Wallis' simpler constructed versions and Peter, who has built the Voigts, has given me an original reflector to copy and make casts of. It will be interesting to hear what these do in the Wallis horns.
Meanwhile someone rang me up last week asking for advice on a Tannoy and in passing he told me that he'd made 18 Voigts and that really there is nothing to compare with them.
Best wishes
David P
