If it stays cheap, this Thorens TD 150 might be a nice way into vinyl for someone. The photos show the rubber mat is missing but so what. Potentially Linn quality playback with a decent arm and plinth IMO.

I think I'd disagree TBH

Many Thorens TD150s can be picked up for the value of the tonearm on it, making the deck effectively free.

£55 could find you one with an original Thorens tonearm if you bide your time (at least 3 examples in sold items search). What arm could you get for £25 if this deck goes for £30?
