As it happens I saw OMD live in 1979 (at the ripe old age of 13), back then they were a support act for Gary Numan and were a duo with a big tape machine on the stage next to them. I actually recognised one of the tracks they played - Electricity, as it had been played a couple of times on the John Peel show on BBC radio. I have a few of their records, but nothing from the last 20 years, but I still have a soft spot for them. I do find the singer over eggs the pudding a bit though
Maybe I'll check it out
