Oppo BDP 105 and DSD streaming

I've heard rumours that Oppo were/are planning to add a firmware update to their BDP 105 player that enables DSD streaming over USB. Presumably this would allow the DSD layer of SACDs to be played in the Oppo and streamed to a DSD DAC, which would then convert a genuine DSD signal to analogue.

Does anyone know if this is correct?
