He refused to share any additional pictures from Konfig etc, and blamed me for trust issues and finally insisted to ship using a small one man company having a fake? website. Wow.. The serial number checked out with Linn. Be careful, it seems you have all been in contact with the same person I had.

On a much smaller scale, someone was purporting to sell a Shunyata venom NR power cable. He didn't follow the insanely low pricing. I checked and emailed him the band on the receptacle should be blue, the cable two colour, and the IEC end should be molded into the cable. No response. It's the first fake Shunyata I've noticed.
Cable scams like that are very common. Nordost has had problems with people buying very long Nordost cables, then cutting them up into smaller ones, re-terminating them with who knows what level of quality and using fake branded heat shrink. There is also a seller on eBay that has been trying to sell Linn K800 power cables for years. They are thick, orange and have the Linn name printed on the cable but aren't anything Linn has ever supplied. Buyer beware!
