I usually put together better adverts than this with more comprehensive photos and will do so in due course if no-one snaps this up.
For sale is my Mission 774 tonearm, boxed with all accessories, manuals, etc and in fine working condition.
These are highly regarded in hi fi circles and hard to find in this fine condition.
This is the ORIGINAL and favoured version of this tonearm.
It has been refurbished by The Vinyl Source, with specific attention to the wiring as follows:
The arm tube wires are the original one while the cable at the baseboard is made here with the external shield is a Ray 101, a thickly braided tinned copper shield made with Mil specifications assure RF interference free. The "hot" wire is a British made 80x0.04mm strands OFC Litz wires with silk insulation. The RCA connector are professional Amphenol.
I have had it up-and-running on a Systemdek as shown in the photo with a humble OM10 cartridge and it sounds excellent. However, I don't have the time to dedicate to setting it up properly with the fluid damping, etc, and have decided to stick to my plug-and-play Rega arm so it's up for grabs. I need to downsize things a bit.
The eagle eyed amongst you may spot the Mission sticker is missing from the headshell - I do have this but it needs sticking back on with some double sided tape or similar. It was presumably removed for the rewiring at some stage.
Happy to answer any questions by PM.
Given the amount of money I have just spent on its refurbishment I'd be looking for £300 plus postage. That seems to be the price poorer condition ones, even ones missing bits, generally sell for on that well known auction site.
