Despite the fact that I would normally slaughter stuff like this, the cars have a (justified) reputation.
With luck, the hi-fi stuff is designed around the same principles. However, and forgive me if I'm wrong, I suspect not.
I really think that looks have taken the upper hand here, which was never the case with the cars.
Fair play, he has established a market (which few others have managed) and he's now going to stick a central line in and drain it for all it's worth.
IMHO, it devalues the product. But then who am I to comment. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to spend a few hundred thousand (or million) euros on something for the hell of it. Fair play to him. It was his money he invested, and he managed to do what almost nobody else has done, and establish a high-end (actually, ultimate) product in a contracting market at a difficult time.
Expanding it into other areas is a natural progression. Personally, I wish him well.
