I'm considering changing my Art pre/power for an AudioNet amp plus phono stage.
The Art stage is a belter and therefore difficult to replace.
Any thoughts on a stage, probably valve, that would be a possibility? Cart is a Reson Reca mm.
Comparing the Art to the top Graham Slee was a sobering experience. The Art was in a different league. Voices that were reticent in the Slee now became life size and instruments were sculpted in space and there was a fullness to the sound.
If I can't find something with similar qualities I'll just keep the ART kit.
Reason for change - the AudioNet drives my new low sensitivity speakers better at the bottom end in a large room.
Considering Croft and Whest (2nd hand) but can't hear anything close.
