Do these things work? I have a DeWalt cordless drill and wondering about this stand for the holes.

This is the internal shot of a mutec ref10 120SE. There are tons more on the net. I don't know anything about electronics. But there might be others who can better decipher the circuitry, to advise on how to proceed with your build.

I had a similar once and I think it didn't quite work, but it was repeatable. Center punch is the most useful basic tool for holes, assuming one can get it in the right place

I've gotten in touch with Macklow who has access to excellent metal work tools and who will drill my faceplate power button hole for me 🙂

He did an amazing job on a DAC I had a while back and does very precise work.
