Question Post Duplication

I'm frequently seeing posts appearing twice - for no readily apparent reason. How come? I usually manage to delete a duplicate. Once upon a time a post got triplicated (again for reasons I can't explain), I deleted the second occurrence and the third disappeared with it. I don't believe my mouse has key bounce.

NB when I tried to open a terminal window to get uname -a I got two windows so maybe there is switch bounce involved. The WAM may not be to blame
