When you don't need or even fancy anything new.... I'm not happy with this being happy with what i got malarkey. I need to be unhappy so I can buy something to make me happy! Hopefully something will break and bring an enforced change so I can start scouring the classifieds again for new and shiny things :)

I am sure this sensibleness will pass...

I've got loads of spare crap kit lying around, I'll swap some of that for your gear and you will be so unhappy, you will be delirious ;-)

How does that sound? :dunno:

This is what turntables were invented for. VTA? VTF? MM or MC? SUT or just a MC Phono stage? Valves or SS. Wall shelf or isolation platform? Idler, belt or direct drive? 12in or 9in arm? Mats? AC or DC psu? How do you deal with mono? RCM? Car boot, Oxfam, or reissue 180g? Hours of endless entertainment. :^

Computer audio is a walk in the park by comparison.

Tom is right, there is never nothing you can with a turntable. With vintage turntables like Garrards you can even change bits like on cars, so you can add to the list which plinth, idler wheel, main bearing, thrust bearing blah blah. Of course it is usually best just to leave well alone....... ;-)

Oh shit, is that what all this gubbins is for?

They should put something on the box - I thought it was some kind of pyramid investment scheme.

Not happy.

I know exactly what you mean Steve.

I too feel as if something is missing in my life.

I just fiddle about with valves and very recently a mains block.

All it does is reinforce the fact that I'm really happy with what I've got.

This sounds like something Cloffy would post. Has your account been catnapped?
