Flash sale before I trade them in!

I bought these new from from Audio Republic Leeds in summer 2021.

Lovely Walnut finish with no grille shading as I never have the grills fitted.

All the original packaging.

There aren't too many reviews online of the D20R, but they are terrific speakers. Very relaxing, fully bodied with dark tones. Sparkling top end, strong bass and beautiful midrange....female voices are hauntingly beautiful.

I've had various amps with these. Naim Uniti Nova, Musical Fidelity M8 Pre and Power (500w), Sugden A21 and my current Art Audio 300b Valve. Anyone with Naim and (especially) Sugden amps should SERIOUSLY consider trying Proacs at some point!

I'm only selling to get more efficient speakers.

Between initial auditions and subsequent tests, these came up trumps over: ATC SCM40 (too anylitical) Proac D30RS (TOO BIG and overpowering bass), Spendor D7.2 (too fatigueing), Living Voice R25A (cant put my finger on why I didnt like these as much..maybe just not worth the jump up in price and they didnt work well in my room), Proac Responce 2.5 ( beautiful but not very efficient). For me the D20R came up tops!

£1900....No offers! The list price is now £3400!

(3 weeks ago I listed on eBay and they sold for £2190 but the buyer didnt check shipping charges. There were 4 other bidders that bid over £2100. I would have re listed but not had any "80% off fees" offers on eBay since".

Collection from York or Selby.

Happy for buyer to arrange a courier.
