Must resist. :(

Been thinking of having another play with a dinky valve amp (EL84's so even better).

I totally agree, Mike they're a little cracker of an amp. I had one some years ago and whilst yes it wasn't over-burdened with oomph, it was just such an endearingly musical device it was very hard not to love. Within its power envelope, definitely in my 'Top 5' of those I've owned.

Will probably get this one serviced once it's in my hands, and have the relay-switching thingy fitted (by someone who knows what they're doing!). :)

Nice one Gromit!

Is this the start of your journey back to valves? ;-)

Never say never mate. :)

Those Bad Boys are really good aren't they? Coco lent me a set a few years ago, after which I just had to have some so got a pair from the States.

Quick ques - how did your A10 get on driving your Q's? I think you had 2020i's though (please correct me if I'm wrong) which are a bit less power-hungry than the 2010's.
