I don't know if it is even a Qobuz problem. There are folks out there using Qobuz everyday with no problems. I know and know of folks with Linn DSMs that have no issues with Qobuz. In my case, I don't blame Qobuz, I think it's a network problem.

Who are these "Non-Linn people" of whom you speak?
Dare you query the wider Wam? If it turns out to be a Linn problem, our collective reputation may be damaged further. They already think we are a bunch of tweaked out nut cases.

I use Qobuz with a non Linn DS and have similar problems (only once or twice a day) with a stable 1.000 Mbit connection. Still searching for the reason.
Just popped in from the wider wam world to report that I gave up with Qobuz due to it stopping playing at random intervals. This was using a Node2i. I’ve since moved to Tidal and no more problems and as a bonus much I prefer their app (although this is a personal preference partly based on much of my listening being to classical).'Tis a fair point... Do we know if Non-Linn people are encountering the same problem?
I do live out in the sticks with a broadband speed of 8Mbs - on a good day!
Me being one of them. I am running a MDSM/4 using only WIFI and have absolutely no buffering. I do have a good internet signal to my router via a cable TV provider.I don't know if it is even a Qobuz problem. There are folks out there using Qobuz everyday with no problems. I'm running Qobuz on the Bluesound app. Node 2i over wi-fi. I also run Qobuz standalone on my phone for travelling and playing in the car. No buffering issues at all on either.
I would say buffering is usually indicative of a network, connection or ISP issue rather than a source issue.

Hell, most of us Linn owning Wam dwellers think that ..........
I thought it was our ridiculously slow Sky internet (5MBs!), but having now got 1Gig Virgin Fibre into the house the problem still exists! My DS is hardwired into the router via a switch so no particular losses in bandwidth there...I'm running Qobuz on the Bluesound app. Node 2i over wi-fi. I use Qobuz on my Linn Klimax streamer, PC, iPhone and iPad.
No dropouts whatsoever, absolutely stable.
Earlier in the year, I was having significant dropouts with the streamer I was using at the time.
After much investigation by BT it was identified that it was their service (FTTC) that kept dropping out.
Changed to a different provider with FTTH and no further issues.
As previously mentioned by others, dropouts are usually networked related.

We have Virgin fibre, but we don't use their router. The setup here is a little unusual, because both of us work from home and need some odd security stuff with various 'layers' of network isolation. As a result, we effectively have three networks. Regardless though, the basic home system is Virgin router used in pure modem mode, feeding a separate router that gives wired ethernet and wi-fi.I thought it was our ridiculously slow Sky internet (5MBs!), but having now got 1Gig Virgin Fibre into the house the problem still exists! It's a pain, but not hard to set the Virgin as modem and then add a separate router. More than a few people have had issues with the Virgin router.
Just a thought @JohnnyBuchan
Do you operate your Linn equipment via an app (android/IOS) on your phone/tablet ?
Am an innuos user but my connection is more stable when I gain access to the server through a page on Google web browser than using the app directly.
Previously I used a Lindemann device and occasionally had problems, but over time & a succession of updates usage became rock solid.
It's a pita when living with glitches while streaming music.
Good luck. M.

I normally listen to my DS via Roon with no issues. For the first time since I subscribed to Roon, the latest update has caused the Linn DS to disappear (they are working on it). In order to listen to this weeks new release, I have went to Kazoo only to discover that certain tracks on Qobuz are pausing part way through as the OP has reported. There is nothing wrong with my BT fibre network as I have no issues with any other streaming (Netflix, etc) and my download speeds are huge. Is this a Qobuz issue or a Linn problem? Is there a fix on the way?

- No
whilst I’d be surprised if this turns out to Linn’s problem, given the number of us with no issues, has anyone raised a problem with Linn when it happens? @Billz you can do this from within Settings in Kazoo. (I expect you already know that)
BTW - there are no discussions on the Linn Development Forum that I can see.

As mentioned above I have this problem once or twice a day (when listening 8 h/day)
So I guess the problem are the Qobuz server.
For now I can live with this behavior.
- with my non-Linn DS via LAN and also
- in the Qobuz App on iPhone and iPad via WLAN and 5G.

Wonder if wireless is involved ?.
Definitely not a wireless issue in my network as all my streaming is via LAN. Played Qobuz today for a few hours and everything was fine.Never have any problems with Qobuz here....

Guys,
just a quick idea:
Do you use Qobuz on more than one device? If you have a single subscription, only ONE device can play Qobuz at a time. So if you start playing music on another device (or if your wife, kids, whoever does) the music WILL stop on your Linn. But this is by design!

This issue is quite new. I am experiencing the same issue since about 6 month, and I did not have that issue before, using Qubuz for several years now.
Would be interesting if that happens random throughout the day or at heavy network traffic times (lunch, evening) when more people are streaming music or movies.
Also Qubuz is small compared to the other giants, Spotify, Netflix, Apple TV, Disney. Maybe they now get less bandwidth or QOS.
