Recently acquired this from a clearance. so don't know previous history. Bit of a reluctant sale as my Musical Fidelity player has given up and I need to replace it. Am trying to keep my system in a silver finish though.
Most of you will know the pedigree of the 557. Super heavy duty and very high end in the day. Hard to find secondhand
It's a 110v model but there is a quality transformer included.
Cosmetically clean considering the age; a few very minor marks
Have been listening with it the past week and all seems fine. Far as I can see all LED's and functions are working. Remote working too. Obviously a vintage player though so bear this in mind regarding servicing / parts etc
I can post with the transport mechanism locked (simple screw). Will use plenty of foam suspension in the box. Weight is approx 20kg
It's for sale on another (local) platform and will go to Ebad shortly.
Price is £595 including free post to main Uk areas. I'm in deepest Cornwall but local viewing / collection is welcomed if you're not too far away.
