I've been using one bought from Piccadilly Records for over 9yrs now. Similar to this one, except mine has Piccadilly Records branding on it.>>>

Mine looks otherwise identical to this un. You can't really tell from this shot but it expands to easily hold 40 or so albums, dependent on whether double or G/Fold sleeves etc + there is a decent sized front pocket with space for some additional singles/ceedees etc. It's made from a heavyweight woven nylon & is v durable. I prefer the over the shoulder courier style strap but there's also a zip out backpack stylee harness & a sturdy pair of hand grip handles too.

The shoulder strap fixing hardware is pretty hopeless cheap plastic & not very sturdy. I've replaced mine with Sturdy Karibiners bought from Cotswolds. The price is near double to what I payed way back when, but is prolly still fair value.

I was in Scotland recently and dropped into HMV in Inverness to treat myself to a few new releases on vinyl.

My purchases were loaded into a nice black fabric record bag and presented to me.

The idea is that you get the bag FoC on your first purchase and then reuse it for future purchases.

I have to say, it was a really nice place to shop in.

The vinyl section was small but well stocked and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

I suppose they look at what audiophools pay for idiotic foo, ie £Xk cables, hi fi fuses, cable lifters etc, and think yipee we've got some easy pickings here lads.
