Thanks for your help and advice , phil.When I bought some Reference Mercury interconnects Paul included the following info: "These are directional - connect both with 'RFC Mercury' heatshrink sleeve label wording following same direction. Overall floating shield connected at start point of writing on label (ie 1st 'RFC' emblem at one end). Connect this at lowest impedance source. If in doubt, connect this end to pre-amplifier".
