removing drivers from a speaker cabinet

Is there a safe and reliable method for removing tightly fitted drivers from a cabinet.
There is no access from inside to just push them out.
I have levered them out of other cabinets but it usually marks the cabinets.

I want to do this to change silver internal wiring to plain vanilla copper, which I prefer.

Screws, pliers, block of wood and cantilever them out.
