They ARE the "world's best loudspeakers", the man has said so.

Not even up for discussion.

Bargain at £10,000 a pair

Seen them at a couple of shows, but they never, ever have them running...

I grew-up in Christrchurch (where they're made) wonder if I know the bloke? Been trying to think who it might be... They're all a bunch of semi-literate woodentops, so it's hard to narrow it down... :raoflmfao:

Wonder if they've sold any?

Looing at the April 2005 edition of Hifi choice, I see there is an add for these, from Resolution themselves, clearly states RRP £1200 Caveat emptor right enough.

Just read his website, its the work of genius.

The patents relates too a) the actual car speakers and b) the sound deflectors used in the line, any of us could claim that.

Apparantly he's threatened ZeroGain with legal action:rofl:according to a former admin on there

Rings a bell, a very small lead bell, but a bell. Think I may have burgled his dad's boatyard when I was about 10... he hada an old van chock-full of rusty-old Meccano and stuff which me and some mates "liberated" - followed us home, found out names etc. and grassed-us to Old Bill... My old man was handy with a belt in them days...

still, acording to the 'review' from hifiignoramus on his website, Mariah Carey might have been in the room with him, so that might be worth the extra 8800? wonder how long you get for nearly nine grand?

Good spot. I looked up my copy after I saw this speaker at the Bristol Show. I'd say there's a very strong probability that it's the same design (though with different drivers). In fairness, the Capel loudspeaker's not a bad design but it was hardly groundbreaking even back then (1988). Bailey published his original transmission line design (Hi-Fi News or Wireless World?) several years before.

Fora sneak preview of the world's actual best loudspeaker - and I'm sure there won't be any argument here

7V seen your web site, you say

It starts with the drive-units. Seventh Veil's drivers are hand-built and designed especially for the company by Doreen Bance
"Doreen"of Bandor ?
rofl.gif.57a0859802223cfb25763a5f876a4be6.gif
also with 8 units in a set of £3,250 set ofNonsuch 4 - full-range loudspeaker, and them drivers selling for £56 each retail, your speaker drivers could have an even bigger mark up than AK's Art drivers

doreen1.gif

The Lady herself

now of course you use lots of bits of wood to make the speaker boxes, which given its shape needs doing on a machine but once set up a YTS lad could run it

So like most speaker makers, lots of spin I wonder if your doing better or worse than ART ? too late to download accounts now Company house closed till Monday
