Restek Mtun tuner 'forgets' stored stations

A friend of mine has a Restek Mtun tuner which he uses at the weekends, nut every time he switches it on the stored stations have been lost and he has to go through process of finding his preferred stations. He asked the shop where bought it from, but all they can do is contact the manufacturer, who apparently aren't that quick at responding.

Any one here know if it has a battery on board to keep the 'memory' functioning.

It's most likely that it will either have a battery or a large value capacitor somewhere inside that needs changing.
