What a bleeding travesty.

If you ever wanted proof that the majority of the great British public haven't a clue when it comes to singing, there you have it.

There was a very clear winner.

It wasn't the winner.

:nup:

PS I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, when the winners of BRITAIN'S got Talent was a group of Hungarian acrobats who had already failed to win several other European talent contests.

Who won it then....?
The visually impaired girl from Northern Ireland - nothing against her at all, seems a lovely person and all that and she sings well, but not in the same class as one of the other contestants.

Ahh..the great British sympathy vote at it's best. Were all the judges suitably embarrassed? No doubt she will do well with an initial recording contract. I stopped watching when they superimposed fucking Angel wings onto her...jeez...

A couple of the judges looked quite thunderous, which is to their credit. Jessie J actually recommended people to vote for the best singer (Leah) rather than her own finalist Matt. WillIAm just looked in shock.

I don't know the reasons for the voting, all I know is that justice was certainly not done.

To be fair, Leah was very good. Andrea = next Susan Boyle. The public have no fucking idea. :nup:

LMAO at the outrage for early evening Saturday fodder for the masses TV
Yes - that is a reasonable point, except that I had to sit through it because the family wanted to watch it, and there's a million pound recording contract riding on it - a life changing opportunity.

It is easy to dismiss these talent shows, but major careers in music (rightly or wrongly) spring from them.

Ahhhhhh.........

Still think that Susan Boyle should have won as she was lovely and dishevelled. If I wasn't fixing hifi I could have done something useful and voted for Susie....

Did I get the wrong show, she was the one with a dog that whistles and talks and does the car insurance advert..... :dunno:

Indeed it is, I have no problem dismissing them and never watching them.

Why people watch this shit I truly don't know.

There are loads of very talented people out there working hard for a living touring and playing gigs, but it is easier for people to sit on their arses and watch car crash TV where the witless vote for the talentless and the only people who make a living are the manipulators.

Go and support some live music!

You know very well that I support, and perform, live music frequently.

That wasn't aimed at you in particular, I carefully re-wrote it so it said 'it is easier for people' etc

But if no one watched this shit the shows wouldn't get made
