Ripping DSD from SACD - is this the correct Playstation to buy?

Sony Playstation 3 with 3.55 firmware seems to be what's needed to rip DSD from SACD. Is this the correct item?

A cryptic reply indeed, the meaning of which eludes me. Is that a 'yes' or 'no'.

No, it isn't the correct model. (There was an 80gb model released in the US which had SACD, but the UK 80gb model didn't have it.)

In the UK only the original 60gb launch model (CECHC03) features SACD - all subsequent versions have been cost-reduced and lost the capability. The console must be jailbroken with custom firmware before you can install the SACD ripper utility, which is easy if at 3.55 or lower but very difficult if above.

I got this CECH03 model with 3.55 firmware today
