its been 40 years since I used vinyl, but after going to quite a few bake offs over the last few years, I decided to get into it again, so firstly many thanks to my fellow wammers who have assisted me, rabski, tuffbob, take 5 ,yoda, turning Japanese, and not least SMEgol, here he is delivering the t/t today

Good man Robin. Apart from vinyl being a pain in the ass to store, I've not regretted getting into it.

had a few problems, notice screw/bolt missing from arm to armboard, the rega fit armboard was not drilled out to suit the arm fixing screw centres, but no fault on rabskis part he bought it like that and never used a rega arm, so amr is fit with just one screw at present, but its sounding good , arm and cart set up was very easy

I think the best bit was trying to get the suspension sorted, before we realised the transit screw on the sub chassis was tightened up! getting the belt on was fun, I thought it sounded great Janice Ian was in the room with us, admittedly not as fit as the redhead from girls aloud, but easier on the ears... Had a great time, thanks Robin. we need to ask about how that phono deals with cartridge loading though, that's on the things to do list.

I'll bring back your manhattan transfer album!

Robin, For a starter deck its pretty much spot on, all you will need now is a very large space to store your soon to be acquired vinyl. Doug

Deck looks good. I have a Voyd PSU in the loft, must offer it on the Spirit of the Wam thread.

I'm glad I googled Cary images BEFORE I asked why the transformer cover looks loose! :doh:
