Rogers LS1 Studio Monitors in excellent condition. Only used in domestic environment. Bought as a backup to my older Rogers (and I have had a few!), I have barely used these in the 10+ years I have owned them.

No blemishes to drivers and rubbers. In excellent cosmetic condition including unmarked grilles.

These early 90s UK made models give a good dose of Rogers studio monitor goodness at a fraction of the price. The midrange in particular is voiced similarly to Rogers more famous models.

This is an earlier model of the series as signified by the S/N and the bespoke Rogers branded terminals instead of the generic units used on later models.

There is not much on the web on these but this review is on the money.

There is a tatty pair of these on the bay for £100 so how about £80ono?

These can be picked up at this Sundays Tonbridge Audiojumble.

I have been using a pair of these in recent weeks and am amazed at how good they are. That's a very fair price too given the super condition yours look to be in (y)

Thanks Phil! Yes they are very good and work very well with my trusty Quad 405-2.
Also perfect for a near field system.

I have a couple of pairs,
change the cap feeding the tweeter
(4.7uf I think ) to something quite nice and then sit back and smile.
A mate has a pair on indefinite loan,
I thought about getting them back from him a couple of times but they would just have been packed away and they always sound good when I pop around to see him.

I bought mine a few weeks ago for a little vinyl system I'm putting together for my daughter. In that time, I have tried them with various combinations and they seem very faithful to what they are being fed with. Given I wanted some vinyl "warmth" for my daughter's system I have a Grado cartridge on the turntable and it sounds luxuriant through these LS1's. On the other hand, digital nearfield yielded wonderful detail and separation. Very nice indeed (y)
