Roon, volume levelling?

I notice Roon has the option to level the volume output which is a nice feature as most of my playlists have tracks from different eras and therefore different volume levels. When using this, it also does a bit depth conversion to 64bit. I haven’t noticed any difference to sound quality and wondered if any other DS/Roon users have tried this feature.

Not tried that. It would likely help when listening to playlists or Roon Radio, when volume differences can be irritating.

I am using it also with the auto option and the default value for target volume level. Never noticed a different in sound quality.

I've not got around to trying this yet, but wondered if the setting is per core or per endpoint?

Glad that it’s not just me. At 66, I still want to trust me ears, but it’s nice to have a second opinion. It is certainly a useful feature, especially when playing playlists.
