Went last night (12th October) to see RM's 50th Anniversary Tour at the AO Arena, Manchester. Not a great fan but Marj has been for the whole of their 50 years as a band, so I know a lot of their music and I do really like some of their stuff. It was great evening (apart from the support band) and Phil Manzanera, Andy McKay and Paul Thompson were brilliant, as were their support musicians and backing vocalists. Bryan Ferry was good, and he knew he couldn't hit some of the notes so he didn't try, and his phrasing was a little different. The sound balance was good, vocals clear, but all too heavily amplified. Overall a very good concert, and I'm glad I went, even though I'm not a great fan.

I went to their Avalon/farewell tour 40 years ago and they played until 1130pm. Probably one of the best gigs I have been to.

I watched Roxy Music when they were in their pomp in the early 70s whilst stationed in Germany at the Munster Halle.

I would'nt want to see them now as I'm sure it would spoil the amazing memories I have of that concert they were just superb & Bryan Ferry is a mesmerising performer at his finest.

I prefer Bryan Ferry's solo stuff. I have two Roxy music albums, one being the best of, Seen him twice in Glasgow so far.
