Well that was fun, must of had a power cut sometime this morning, anyway when it came back on I was awoken by the Hi-Fi at serious volume at silly'o'clock in the morning

I leave the kit on all the time but when the power for the CDP is switched on it starts playing automatically, so as soon as the power came on we had lift off!! didnt help that I'd been listening at a fair old level yesterday whilst doing some house work and had left it turned up.

Not sure how many CDP's start playing when the powers switched on but beware anyway, I know theres a few more Sony XA20ES owners in the tent.

:lmao: I'll bet that got you out of bed quite quickly!

My hifi is in my bedroom so if that had happened to me i would have likely jumped through the ceiling. My expo doesn't do play on power up. seems like an odd feature to include...

You leave a cd in the drawer when not in use

how very uncouth of you, surely you take it out and file it away in the appropriate position in your collection ?

um...what difference does this make..? I usually leave mine on and with a cd in it - just ready to go...!
doesn't make any difference, but the anally retentive geek in me has to have my collection without any gaps and the cd in the case

Hahahaha!

My Copland does the same. I flick the wall switch some mornings and get a bloody shock as it all fires up and starts blasting whatever I drunkenly fell asleep to the night before.
