Russ Andrews cable upgrade demonstration

Just received the latest copy of the russ andrews magazine "connected" where, it details, they will be demonstrating their mains and cable products at this weekends "UK HI-FI Show live".

Has anybody attended one of his cable "upgrade" demonstrations and if so what did you think ?

Well. Not cables but footers. He was happy to have a full, big room with a very affordable CD system and he played with and without oak cone feet. I have oak cone feet under all but my T/T.

I attended at Bristol a few years back. Worked his way up through the range of power/interconnect/speaker using some old quad/arcam kit. Played the same track each time (Clapton unplugged). Audioquest played a different track each time!

I went to a presentation at the Hammersmith show a few years ago, I can't honestly remember if I thought it was convincing or not sorry. It was very interesting though.

Did you notice any clear improvements as Russ changed the products ?

Absolutely. Even just using bottom of the range power/interconnect/speaker cable made a big difference.
