Hi Pete,

Thanks for the heads up on this one - just back from the Green Man Festival where Sam Amidon was playing - great set and in between song surreal banter. He also stayed around to watch some other bands and chat to people.

Am going to play a couple of his albums later

Hi Pete,

I don't think I really discovered any gems but did like Moon Duo who I didn't know too much about. Other than that I most enjoyed Fernhill, Edwyn Collins, Steve Mason, Laura J Martin, Roy Harper ( although I arrived half way through his set due to a misprint in the programme) and the highlight for me was Low who included a majestic version of Down by the River.

Oh yes , forgot to mention that I almost murdered the 2 guys in the tent next to me.
