Unashamedly 'Boys Own' stuff.
Thoroughly enjoyed it - yes, the modern music was occasionally a bit jarring - but a real treat, for me at least.

The only negative is that I binged it early last week and have nothing to watch on a sunday night.
And 6 episodes weren't enough, the time flew.

Yes, having read and really enjoyed Ben Macintyre's book I was looking forward to the series which we have just finished. I thought it was really well done and surprisingly accurate. Great fun. I believe all the characters were real except the glamourous girl who was fictitious, although there were people like her around. It even had my wife looking forward to watching the episodes.

I think I read that Macintyre said the SAS came to him and said would you go into our archives and write a book about our origins. The book is great imho as are, most/all of his.

I imagine there will be at least another series. I also have read a biography of Paddy Mayne, and that is also fascinating.

I binged watched the lot over this weekend just gone. Loved it to be honest. And since I'm a AC/DC fan the soundtrack was a totally unexpected bonus. Roll on another series ... (y)
AC/DC works for me👍

I am enjoying it too and watching Episode 3 tonight. If you are looking to read 'Laugh Out Loud' books of a similar vain, try the Scoundrals Novels. Funniest books I have ever read.

Thanks I'll check them out👌🏻

Yes, it fitted right in. But not something I would have naturally thought of for something like that - good job I'm not in charge of production or editing or whoever makes those types of decisions. And to cap it all on the enjoyment front they of course used 'Thunderstruck' my all time favourite track of theirs. Brilliant stuff.

I imagine there will be at least another series. I'll admit that becoming an honored author is something I've always wanted to do. Correct, but in real life, not in the game. I've always wanted to learn how to write eloquently and effectively, but my abilities in this area need a lot of improvement. That's why I used a write care plan . Unlike other writing services, these experts handle all nursing-related themes. I consider it crucial. And they gave me a decent deal. I was overjoyed. I also have read a biography of Paddy Mayne, and that is also fascinating.
I agree, the book is super at all. I didn't even expect it to be honest. But now I'm rereading it again.
