Silverstone Classic - anyone else been/going?

What a great day, just got back from the Silverstone Classic today and what a fantastic day.

It was relatively quiet but absolutely loads to do there and so many amazing cars to see - the BMW stand was brilliant with a free ferris wheel for visitors to use.

We saw some racing and having never been to a car racing event before the noise from the race cars really did knock me back - amazing noise but it's not a conversation sport

Anyway, will post up some pics later but wanted to see if anyone else went or will be going and what did you think?

I went. Had a fantastic w/e. Had a go on the BMW big wheel where BMW owners/drivers could flash their car keys and get fast-tracked to the front of the queue. BMW drivers barging their way to the front as of right. Oh the irony of it.

I will certainly be going again - a fab day out.
