A great pair of these fabulous speakers. Sorry to see them go but: no possibility of a second system, no room to store them, and new speakers already in place means they are reluctantly up for grabs. Series II model in the less common walnut finish (this was an extra cost option when they were new, I believe).

Very good condition (I would say 8/10) - see photos - a few, actually very few, small marks, but nothing that is visible from the listening position.

Drivers re-foamed and fettled, all in perfect working order.

This pair has been in the WAM family for a good while, I'm the 3rd WAM owner to my knowledge. They have been to several bake-offs and out on loan, and they have always impressed. A quick search of some of the usual channels – eBay/Hifi Shark etc reveals that these may be the only pair currently for sale in the UK.

Includes VERY heavy stands (these have some wear but are still very presentable; I would say they are in 7/10 condition). A decent set of jumpers and the original spikes for the stands are also included.

They are very easy to position in a room. You can find all the specs and loads of reviews and comments about just how good these are online.

Big, deep rich sound. Work well with most amplifiers - I have used both a 70-watt/channel Audio Analogue amp and an 8-watt/channel Audio Note amp with great success for the past 2 years.

They come with the original boxes and all the original inserts/packing etc.
