Speaker loan near Leeds please!

Not too sure if this is the correct place for this. If not, Mods please advise.
I’ve just ordered some new Audio Note speakers with a waiting time of 10 ish weeks.
So, I was wondering wether there is a wammer close to Leeds, owning a spare pair of speakers, who would be kind enough to lend me them for a while? I’d be most grateful, as 10 weeks without music is pretty much unthinkable! See pic of speakerless room! Thanks very much for looking. Mark.

I have a pair of AVI Pro 9s that you can borrow? Wont be offended if you wait for a better offer, but they are actually nice little speakers.

I rigged up Richard’s AVI Pro Nines this afternoon having picked them up from him today. Thanks Richard!
They present music in a very ‘even handed’ way and truly enjoyable. My wife loves them and has already tried to talk me out of The ANJ’s I ordered on Tuesday.
Thanks again for all the kind offers. H6’s, I remember them well, prior to H2’s and H1’s. Those were the days!

Mine are really just the H6 box, drivers are scanspeak, internal wiring is an Audionote and crossovers are all boutique bits, you can try them as well. Be interested to hear another opinion as these have been somewhat a home brew!

I owned those very speakers for 17 years. I got a lot of enjoyment from them over that time. Glad they are getting listened too and enjoyed rather than being stuck in a box which would have been the case if I kept them.

I’m glad you enjoyed them JAD. They’re very nicely veneered and surprisingly heavy for their size.
I turned them upside dowm to get the mid-bass driver nearer ear level, which has certainly made for a smoother and more balanced presentation.
