I seem to have acquired these XLRs along the way but haven't got a clue what they are and there's no indication on the cable itself.

Does anyone recognise them?

Any help appreciated.

Yeah, they're definitely Neutriks, Mark, but I'm fairly sure the cables were a proprietary purchase rather than home made.

Could be made up by one of the dodgy firms hanging around the forums making fortunes out of selling cheap cable for a load of money. ;-)

The braid and heatshrink suggests it's either a mega-expensive, boutique audiophile cable OR something knocked up in a shed by an amateur. Oh, hang on ... :D

'Proprietry' cable suppliers hardly ever make the cables they sell. They take a generic manufacturers product, stick an oversheath over it and some poncy packaging and charge 20 times the cost (at least).

That is what I would do if the market wasn't already overcrowded with people who thought of it first :)

If they work OK don't worry about it, just use them, they will probably be as good as anything else.

If you are looking to sell them make something up I can't help identify them I'm afraid :)

Come on then,i'm waiting...You have seen some pretty good ones in your three years of wamming,i am expecting a high standard
Tbh I wouldn't know how to flounce. I'd just quietly seeth and then get over it.

But you and your secret society led by that tall beardy wazzock have got it in for me. Can't post a thing anymore with it unleashing an overwhelming torrent of butthurt. You're not so bad. It's them feckin' namby pamby southern ones that hate me. Then there's all that butthurtiness from those that got stuck north of the border. Bunch of ****ing ****s the lot of you.

Where's me feckin' coat. I'm off. It's been a long day (boom tish).

Pac67 was the name I was looking for. Could it have been one of his cables? It seems a standard bit of nylon braid over some sort of wire.
