Has anyone else had any issues running Spotify and Jriver. I have Spotify start at boot up and it will play fine up until I start using Jriver. If I use jriver while the Spotify app is open it wont play again until I reboot. Its bloody annoying. Any ideas?

If jriver is taking exclusive control of the soundcard, Spotify will not play. Dunno how you get it to let go in Windows though.

I think that is the case Adam but I cant work out how to get around it. Even if I close down jriver Spotify won't play. :x

You could try unchecking exclusive mode in the output mode options. No ASIO option then?

Uncheck exclusive, but it sounds like one for the jriver forum. It should release the exclusive use of the soundcard once it is closed.

Try kernel streaming.

It seems to work OK for me using jriver/Spotify. No conflicts and the sound is the same as Wasapi to my ears.

Their forum works really well - I have had a few feature requests fulfilled by Matt, the main developer, and he helps to sort out problems like this.
