Anyone able to help me locate a new ST cable for my wadia transport please? while its being serviced ive lost the audioquest cable that came supplied, please help ?

If the Wadia end is ST, what are you connecting into? What type of connector is on your DAC? We (at work) have used MISCO http://www.misco.co.uk/Cat/Cables/Network-Cables/Fibre-Optic-Cables to buy a range of fiber optic patch cables. Not sure if they would be suitable for HiFi use though.

i no longer have an active acc on eBay.

the dac im using also has st , so st both ends is ideal...im guessing audioquest make them still or ?

Can't find any that are audio related, but plenty that are for use in fibre optic computer networks http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/st-to-st-fibre-optic-cables

Are there any Wadia dealers you can call and ask. Personally i'd take a punt on one of the cheap computer network patch cables.

Any half-decent computer networking company should be able to help - I've used 100s of these over the years.

Audio Synthesis sell high bandwidth St optical cables, but from memory, they're about £75. Not sure if they're any better than cheapo ones as I got the AS ones with my AS transcended pioneer transport.
